A fine example of the sumptuous early 19th century Georgian era. . An incredible classical cased upright piano by William Stodart - the inventor of THE upright piano. Sumptuous rich rosewood throughout with cross-banding and fine brass fittings. .
The piano has been restorer in the distant past however it will need a small amount of minor work to bring it up to first rate condition again. The instrument has fine original ivory and ebony keys.
The instrument is vertical strung and overdamped with a distinctive tone and positive old-world sound and charm.
