A fine example of the classic late 19th century London-built instrument. The instrument has been overhauled, regulated and the original keyboard ivories repaired and cleaned to a good white. The piano has two sets of double art nouveau design candle scones. The front panels are decorated with gilt incised work highlighted with original coloured paintwork. The leg trusses are decorated with inlaid banding work. The standard 85-note keyboard is complimented by a quality gravity over-damper piano action.
